DMS (Dealer Management System)

A DMS (dealer management system) is software that helps car dealerships run core operations — typically inventory, customers, sales progression, invoicing-related workflows, and sometimes service/parts depending on the product.

What a DMS usually includes

Most modern DMS products aim to be a “system of record” for vehicles and deals. That means fewer contradictions between what sales believes is available and what the yard is preparing.

DealerPilot is dealership management software built for UK used car dealers, combining stock, CRM, sales workflows, and UK vehicle data checks (MOT/DVLA-related) in one platform.
